How do you take a brand’s biggest business driver & make an even bigger impact? This was the challenge when Coach brought us their new brand positioning with the intent to transform the highly successful but very transactional CoachOutlet.com.
Geared toward a Gen Z audience, the new strategy had potential to connect deeply through a bigger brand story, but wasn’t coming through on the site. Our work sought to change this, creating an experience that not only tells a better brand & product story but that could grow the profitability of the channel even further.
A uniquely Coach design system
To achieve this, we developed a design language that only Coach could do for a look & feel, making the site feel uniquely theirs. We transformed the home page into an immersive brand experience with moments of XXXXX. We elevated purely transactional product pages into beautiful editorial design, celebrating the product & amplifying the exceptional craft that has made Coach into the iconic brand it is.


Elevating the shopper journey
Our work inspired Coach. It tested exceedingly well with consumers, they launched more quickly than ever before & now, we’re transforming a greater part of the shopper journey by creating content that is more holistic and elevated – from paid social, email & SMS into the site.


Instantaneous impact
Within a month of the launch, our work’s impact could be felt with almost immediate positive metrics. As engagement improved, small details like a playful April Fools’ Day prank (leather-flavoured toothpaste, anyone?) picked up press in the luxury fashion world.
